Satinwood is a lovely and accessible holiday home on the Atlantic Reach Resort & Leisure Club in White Cross. Only 6 miles from the popular seaside town of Newquay, this property boasts an intimate open-plan living space for everyone to enjoy and has two swimming pools onsite, making for a great holiday destination for a family or a group of friends. Satinwood is the perfect place to relax. Arrive and place your luggage down before testing out the three divine sofas - when you've found the spot that feels just right, flick on the smart TV and find a couple of episodes of your favourite show. Afterwards, be sure to head back out to explore the facilities onsite. Fetch your swimwear for a dip in the swimming pools, boasting both an indoor pool - perfect whatever the weather - or the outdoor pool (the latter open May-September). When you come back, get everyone around the dining table ready to eat the feast you serve using the fully equipped kitchen. Once the delicious food has been eaten, feel free to enjoy the sunset on the garden furniture in the front. When night-time creeps upon you, get ready for bed with a relaxing shower in the fully accessible wet room downstairs, which services the ground-floor double bedroom, ideal for those with limited mobility. If you're staying in the king-size bed upstairs, make the most of the en-suite shower or use the family bathroom for a fabulous soak in the Jacuzzi bath upstairs. The first–floor double and twin rooms are also available for some rest ahead of another fun day of making memories. A pub called The Atlantic Arms is available April-September in the complex, with another pub just a mile away open year round. Also nearby is a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, a lovely fish and chip shop, a pizzeria, and a garage. 78 Golf Lodges is a very apt address, as Satinwood is fantastically placed for any golf enthusiasts; only a short drive away are a plethora of greens such as the Treloy, Newquay, and Holywell Bay courses, to name just a few (the property is central to every golf course in Cornwall). For a day out, be sure to visit Newquay, which has plenty to do. Go to the Newquay Zoo to let the kids be in awe of some magnificent creatures, or get them up close and personal with some sea life at the Blue Reef Aquarium. Take a tranquil family stroll along the stunning Newquay Beach before you pick your spot for a day of seaside activities. Further along the coast, Perranporth has another beach where you can surf the waters. Have an idyllic equestrian beach ride with Reen Manor Riding School or listen to some live music with a drink at The Watering Hole, a stunning beach bar. Slightly further afield in Truro, go for a serene walk through Victoria Gardens or test the family's resolve by working together to break out of the Enigma Escape Cornwall.
